ARISE Life-Skills Management Training

Our mentoring project has two certified Master ARISE Life-Skills trainers and over 15 certified ARISE Life-Skills Management instructors. 

The ARISE Life-Management Skills program (Florida) has been used successfully in after-school programs, alternative school settings, youth groups, churches, juvenile delinquent facilities, and community programs. Since its inception as a non-profit in 1986, ARISE has enhanced the lives of over 500,000 disadvantaged youth.  ARISE has certified over 4,000 men and women as life-skills instructors, and gone on to teach more than 3,000,000 (three million) documented hours of social skills instruction. The ARISE program was evaluated by the University of Miami’s Department of Sociology over a five year period. The evidence-based evaluation data over this time frame states, “Youth showed significant improvement in knowledge of issues included in the programs’ content:  violence reduction, goal setting, anger management, drugs and alcohol avoidance, and other life-management skills.”
